Lauren is a Chicago-born writer living in New York City.
She’s the author of the indie novel The Boys Who Wouldn’t Grow Up and the poetry and illustration collection Eggs in Love, a collaboration with artist Nadim Basna.
Her poetry play, The Art of Golden Repair, was produced in Los Angeles in 2016, and her work as a poet has been published in the Eunonia Review. Her humor piece, “The Bridesmaiden’s Tale,” was in the Weekly Humorist. Lauren’s essays and interviews both as a writer and ghostwriter have appeared in The Huffington Post, xoJane, The Elephant Journal, and Thrive Global.
She’s currently subbing her second novel, Pre, upmarket fiction, and finishing a draft of her third, Daughters of Mothers, a family saga set in Berlin between 1929-1992.

She holds a BA in English literature and theatre from Saint Mary's College of Notre Dame, IN and a master's degree in Women, Writing, & Gender from the University of St Andrews in Scotland.
She lives with her partner Ian and puppy Alvy in Astoria, Queens.
