About Me

I’m a writer, mostly, currently working on my fourth novel at Faber Academy’s 6-month novel writing master class. My third book is on submission with Gina Panettieri of Talcott Notch.

I also edit other people’s work, publish Parquet Magazine, and research women’s history and culture. Beginning in 2027, I run a multidisciplinary reading residency for women artists.

I have a master’s in writing from St Andrews and I’ve trained in master classes at Poets House and Sackett Street. And my work has been published in poetry, humor, and literary journals as well as appearing as a play at the Hollywood Fringe Festival.

Originally from Chicago, I now live by the sea in Cascais, Portugal with my husband and sons.
